Highlights from the opening weekend of Doug Aitken’s month-long, building-wide, art intervention.

Artists from the world of contemporary art, music, dance, graphic design and film have infiltrated the Barbican’s concrete ramparts to participate in a 30 day ‘living exhibition’ of residencies, performances, workshops, talks, screenings and more.

Building on his roaming 2013 project by the same name, which crossed North America by train, Station to Station is Doug Aitken’s vision in spontaneous creativity.

For the duration of the show, watch our on-site pressing unit, featured in the video above, pump away as the music created for the project is pressed to vinyl. Check out records that have already been created here.
