NYC dance vinyl outpost will relocate to Output, equipped with a café and event space.

After closing its DUMBO space last year, Halcyon has been searching for a new location whilst holding down a pop-up locale in South Williamsburg.

This weekend the shop will finally move to a new permanent home inside neighbourhood nightclub Output. The new spot comes equipped with a two-floor cafe, bar and event space.

Inventory will be beefed up to 5,000 titles, offering a tight focus on house, techno, bass and hip-hop.

The shop opens this Friday 5th February with long time Halcyon homie DJ Jus-Ed christening the space.

Its 74 Wythe Ave address is right at the corner of N 12th Street, a stones throw from U.S.’s only Rough Trade outpost. [via RA / FACT]
