Former Hercules & Love Affair vocalist Kim Ann Foxman expands her passion for the New York house sound with the launch of her own label, Firehouse.

“Early this year I moved into an amazing space in Brooklyn, it is an old firehouse. It is my base where my friends come over and I have a studio.” Encouraged by her New York residence, Foxman is channeling her passion for raw and authentic dance music with the launch of Firehouse, her new label in association with The Vinyl Factory.

The label will be inaugurated with Firehouse 001, a two track EP. On Side A is ‘It’s All About You’, hypnotic and deep cut that hooks around Kim Ann’s own subtle vocals. On the flip is ‘Steal My Secrets’, a track bleeding with energy.

As she puts it: “Firehouse will be super-dynamic, gorgeous and weird. I want to represent New York, represent its flavour and be a part of the music history that it is so abundant here. I will embrace music that I feel. It’s gotta have vibes! It’s gotta have passion, it’s gotta have heart.”

Firehouse 001 will be released on November 24th.
