£100 to spend. Ten minutes to spend it. One wall of vinyl to spend it on. This is the Record Sweep.

Our crate digging game-show gives contestants ten minutes to spend one hundred pounds at the monster record emporium Vinyl Pimp. Previous contestants include T.E.E.DLuke VibertJen LongAndrésGilles Peterson and Eats Everything.

Next up, we have one of the finest voices in electronic soul music right now: the lovely Fatima of Eglo Records. Her elegant, velvet-toned vocals have been paired with a long list of collaborators, spanning the likes of Floatings Points, Shafiq Husayn, Dam Funk, Dorian Concept, Funkineven, Ras G, to name but a few. The most holistic testament of her versatility is Yellow Memories, her debut album which entered our 2014 vinyl chart and stole of the show at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards last month. Growing up in the ’90s listening to soul and African sounds from her mother’s record collection, she’s always had a love for black wax so we invited her down to Vinyl Pimp to dig out £100 of records in just 10 minutes. Here’s what she emerged with:
