Listen: Charlie Dark’s I Can’t Live Without My Radio

Explore the world of pirate radio with Charlie Dark.

‍" I want to take you back to your 13th birthday, and I want you to think about your bedroom when you were 13, what posters were on the wall, what was playing on the radio, and the relationship that you had with your parents".

DJ and founder of Run Dem Crew Charlie Dark returned to Devon Turnbull's Listening Room for a third session – this time focusing on his relationship with pirate radio.

Exploring his childhood growing up in East Dulwich and the formative pirate radio stations and DJs that shaped his tastes, Dark shares music from the likes of Roy Ayers and many more.
