VF releases Wes Anderson's Bottle Rocket on exclusive vinyl

Featuring cuts from iconic '60s band Love.

The Vinyl Factory has released an exclusive limited edition vinyl collaboration with Wes Anderson, featuring two songs from his 1996 debut film Bottle Rocket that were left off the original soundtrack.

The release features "7 and 7 Is" and "Alone Again Or", both by iconic 1960s LA band Love and is produced by Anderson alongside longtime music supervisor Randall Poster.

It's the latest chapter in an ongoing collaboration between VF and Anderson. Most recently, VF pressed four exclusive limited edition records from Fantastic Mr Fox, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Life Aquatic and The French Dispatch, each featuring two cuts from the original scores with music from Jarvis Cocker, Seu Jorge, Mark Mothersbaugh and Alexandre Desplat.

Before that, VF released four songs from Isle of Dogs, composed by Alexandre Desplat, amidst a 2018 exhibition of the film curated by Anderson at 180 Studios.

Released in tandem with the Music from the films of Wes Anderson concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, taking place from 10-12 July, Bottle Rocket has been pressed on 180-gram heavyweight yellow vinyl at The Vinyl Factory in Hayes. Housed in a 350gsm matt laminated outer sleeve with a silk matt inner sleeve, it also features with exclusive cover artwork and inserts.
