VF x Phonica: Mella Dee and DouDou MD (RSD 2025)

Experience full DJ sets straight from the Phonica Records basement.

‍Now that we’ve had time to recover from the fun of Phonica’s Record Store Day 2025 celebration, VF is releasing full recordings of each DJ set from the event throughout the week—so you can relive the magic from wherever you are.

Kicking our coverage off is an electrifying set from Doncaster DJ, producer, and Warehouse Music label head Mella Dee, alongside SlapFunk resident DouDou MD. A raw ode to club culture, the set saw Mella Dee lay down his trademark warehouse sounds, and DouDou MD deliver forward-thinking electronic. Fast and heavy energy to get the party-goers sweating.

Start your week with the set above, and don’t miss Phonica’s full event recap here.
