Watch: Al Wootton & Valentina Magaletti in conversation with No Tags
No Tags returns to The Listening Room for their second session.
"I was playing on the boat. I opened with The Sinking of the Titanic by Gavin Bryar and they had to cancel the whole festival."
For their second session at The Listening Room, No Tags hosts Tom Lea and Chal Ravens invited DJ and producer Al Wootton and drummer and percussionist Valentina Magaletti, long-time collaborators and the duo behind live dub project Holy Tongue.

Structured around three categories — records you don't think the other will know, dub and drums, and one more tune — the pair share insights into their music backgrounds and their relationship with one another.
Featuring an ultra-rare pressing from Bari, Magaletti's hometown in southern Italy and music from Jamaican dub producer Sonia Pottinger, all the way to Alice Coltrane and Midori Takada, Magaletti and Wootton showcase a suitably eclectic selection, to be expected from two of the underground's most multifarious figures.

No Tags is a podcast, book series, and live programme dedicated to underground music and culture. Find out more here.
