Capital Children’s Choir take the art of the cover version to the next level with their performance of ‘Shake It Out’ live at The Vinyl Factory to mark their debut EP Untrust.
Ethereal, intricately arranged and on a knife edge between the angelic and the unsettling, the prodigious youngsters have built an online reputation in the last year, gathering close to three million Youtube views for studio versions of their tracks. Now, Capital Children’s Choir have released a live version of Florence & The Machine’s ‘Shake It Out’, performed at the launch of their debut EP Untrust at The Vinyl Factory Space at Brewer Street Car Park.
Released officially for the first time, digitally and as both limited and standard 12″ editions, Capital Children’s Choir’s cover of ‘Shake It Out’ is joined by versions of Crystal Castles’ ‘Untrust Us’, and ‘So Long You Pretty Thing’ by Spiritualized, as well as by a 12-minute rework of ‘Unstrust Us by iconoclastic artist and producer Dinos Chapman, who has also provided a video and stunning hand-ecthed artwork to the limited edition vinyl.
