Marking their fourth studio album, Chiastic Slide saw the duo exploring dark, glitched-out sonics, harsh sounds, and mechanical rhythms.

Released one year later in 1998, LP5 delved into IDM fare.

The reissues follow the release of two new Autechre albums in 2020, PLUS and SIGN.
