MasterSounds has shared a new video with Be With Records’ founder Rob Butler, in advance of their turntable weight collaboration.

In the video, Butler takes us into his HQ to explain the ethos behind his label, what he loves about his job and how artists respond to reissue requests.

“When I first started reissuing stuff, that was purely off my own want list. Stuff that I’ve always wanted, but can’t afford, or can’t find anywhere,” shares Butler.

“I can be purist about a lot of things, but – as long as they’re legit – I’ve never been bothered about pressings of records, whether it’s the first press or thirty-seventh press.

Nothing fills me with greater joy then when I get an email that says ‘license approved’.”
