Bernie Krause soundscape to feature in UVA’s largest exhibition yet at 180 Studios

UVA: Synchronicity runs from October 12.

Art collective United Visual Artists is set for its largest-ever exhibition at 180 Studios.

Starting on October 12, 2023, UVA: Synchronicity will feature eight new “large-scale immersive works and sensory-heightening premieres that challenge our perception of reality”.

At the core of the exhibition, there will be an audiovisual installation featuring a soundscape created by legendary bioacoustician Bernie Krause.

Synchronicity also includes a site-specific reiteration of Our Time, a multi-sensory environment that explores perceptions of time, previously created for 180 The Strand with a score by the late electronic artist Mira Calix.
