Cosey Fanni Tutti releasing soundtrack to Delia Derbyshire documentary

Drawing on Derbyshire’s original notes and compositional techniques.

Cosey Fanni Tutti is releasing the soundtrack to Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and the Legendary Tapes via Conspiracy International this September.

Written, directed and starring Caroline Catz, Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and the Legendary Tapes aims to show how Derbyshire “lived outside of time and space as other people experience it, and [how] her soundscapes seemed connected to another realm.”

For the soundtrack, Tutti drew on her research in the Derbyshire audio archive, looking to her original notes and compositional techniques.

It follows her last studio album — Tutti — in 2019.
