Don Leisure is releasing a new album, called Shaboo Strikes Back, via First Word Records this March.

The album takes its name from, and is dedicated to, Don Leisure’s late uncle, Bollywood actor, Nasser ‘Shaboo’ Bharwani.

Across Shaboo Strikes Back’s 25 tracks Leisure draws on psychedelic samples, “phat beats”, jazz, reggae, soul, and spiritual music.

It features contributions from Gruff Rhys, Angel Bat Dawid, Amanda Whiting, and David Newington.

Shaboo Strikes Back follows his 2017 record Shaboo.
