Jack White to release Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail on vinyl via Third Man Records
The Nashville label extends its portfolio to press Jay-Z’z megalomanic new LP.
Teased out of Jay-Z’s maiden Twitter Q&A, Line Of Best Fit report that the vinyl of Jay-Z’s latest offering Magna Carta Holy Grail will be “handled by Jack White”. Answering a question about why “Open Letter” was taken off the tracklist, Jay-Z responded that it will be part of a vinyl-only package, presumably released by White’s Third Man Records.
Although Third Man have made a name for themselves in recent weeks with direct-to-acetate recordings and throwback public recording booths, they also took care of the lavish Great Gatsby OST which was produced by Jay-Z and was pressed onto gold and platinum vinyl. [Line Of Best Fit]
