LCD Soundsystem’s Madison Square Garden concert reissued on 5xLP
Featuring live versions of ‘Daft Punk Is Playing At My House’, ‘New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down’, ‘Dance Yrself Clean’, and more.
LCD Soundsystem’s Madison Square Garden concert is being reissued on vinyl to celebrate its 10th anniversary, as The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live At Madison Square Garden, via DFA Records/Parlophone/Warner Music this August.
The album captures the band’s nearly four-hour performance at New York’s Madison Square Garden during 2011, where they were joined by guests including Reggie Watts, Planningtorock and more.
The show included live renditions of the some of the band’s most iconic tracks, including ‘Daft Punk Is Playing At My House’, ‘New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down’, ‘Losing My Edge’, ‘Us v Them’, and ‘Drunk Girls’.
It follows the band’s live in-studio album Electric Lady Sessions, in 2019.
