Love Record Stores unveils date for 2021 events

Taking place this September.

Love Record Stores, the initiative launched last year to support record shops during the pandemic, has unveiled the date for its 2021 edition, taking place this September.

Unlike the first edition, which was held online in June last year, the 2021 edition will take place physically in record stores across the UK.

Alongside limited edition vinyl releases, the organisers also hope to host in-store performances by artists and DJ sets throughout the day.

While the participating record shops for this year’s event haven’t been revealed, the 2020 instalment saw over 130 UK record stores take part — including Phonica, Honest Jons, and Mr Bongo.
