A sonic journey into outsider psychedelia.

NYC record collector and Endless Boogie frontman Paul Major has curated a compilation of unique and strange records from the fringes of rock and roll, Feel the Music Vol. 1, via Mexican Summer’s reissue label Anthology Recordings.

A companion to Major’s book Feel The Music: The Psychedelic Worlds of Paul Major, the LP features twelve tracks of “psychedelia, lounge and loner folk”.

The vinyl release includes an obi-style insert featuring Major’s handwritten notes on each song, alongside art from his mail-out record catalogues.

Stay tuned for an interview with Paul Major about the compilation on VF’s latest Soho Radio show.

Pre-order a copy here ahead of its 27th October 2017 release, and listen to Justyn Rees’ ‘Behold’ below.
