Pro-Ject unveils fully automatic turntable, the Automat A1
Handmade, and marking the company’s first fully automatic offering.
Pro-Ject has launched a new range of full automatic turntables, called the Automat series, with the release of their A1 turntable.

Marking the company’s first-ever automatic turntable, the A1 features a built-in moving magnet phono stage, an 8.3” aluminium tonearm with an Ortofon OM 10 cartridge, and 33 and 45rpm adjustability.
In order to reduce vibrations to improve sound quality, the turntable has silicon damping feet and a “resonance-damped” wooden chassis.
The A1 measures in at 43 x 13 x 36.5cm, and weighs 5.6kg.
Retailing at £369, the turntable is now available.
