The Dutch record label-store finds a new shopfront.

After close to two decades at its current spot on Spuistraat 98, Rush Hour is moving a few doors down to Spuistraat 116. The new, bigger location will give the shop space to expand its stock of new and used vinyl.

“We wanted to move for a while, but it wasn’t easy to find something suitable,” Rush Hour co-founder Antal told RA. “We even checked for buildings in the outskirts. To find such a beautiful space in the same street is quite unreal to us. The new home opens in April. It all happened pretty fast… I can’t wait until the opening, to party with our friends and artists to celebrate this next step.”

To celebrate the move, Rush Hour shop hosting a three-day weekender in April with appearances from Dego and the 2000Black live band, Interstellar Funk, Beau Wanzer, Sadar Bahar and Lee Collins.
