Steffi is releasing her debut EP as Crushed Souls, titled Family of Waves, via Dark Entries this September.

Described by Steffi as “a mix of my past and new modern waves,” across Family of Waves’ four tracks she brings together “gnarled basslines”, “unearthly percussives”, and “Metroid-funk”.

Steffi first used her Crushed Soul moniker on a 2013 Ostgut Ton compilation, with Family of Waves marking her debut release under the alias.

The EP follows Dark Entries and Optimo Music’s expanded reissue of Robert Rental’s debut 7”, Paralysis.
