Tony Allen’s No Accommodation For Lagos and No Discrimination reissued

The Afrobeat classics return.

Tony Allen’s No Accommodation For Lagos and No Discrimination albums are being reissued on vinyl, via Comet Records this May.

Originally released in 1978, No Accommodation For Lagos marked Allen’s third studio album, and was recorded with Fela Kuti’s Africa 70 Band — where Allen acted as the musical director.

No Discrimination was released the following year after Allen left Africa 70, and was recorded with The Afro Messengers.

The new reissues follow the posthumous release of Allen’s final album, There Is No End, in April.
