The iconic 1986 film is coming to vinyl.

When most people think of music behind Transformers: The Movie they’re usually drawn to Stan Bush’s maddeningly catchy 80s’ rock anthem ‘The Touch’. That’s understandable, but the film also featured a synthesizer score courtesy Vince DiCola (fresh off of composing for Rocky IV), that’s just as indulgently glossy.

Now, Light In The Attic have announced a new double vinyl release of the score. It’s out April 8 and can be preordered now. Revisit an excerpt from DiCola’s score below.
