His last ever Space set.

Having held down a 15 years residency at Space, Carl Cox played his final set at the iconic Ibiza club last night. For the closing Music Is Revolution session, Cox went back to his roots and played his first vinyl set in over a decade.

The marathon ten hour set included heaps of dance classics including Jeff Mills’ ‘The Bells’, Joe Smooth’s ‘The Promise Land’, Moby’s ‘Go’ and A Homeboy Hippie A Hippie And A Funki Dredd’s ‘Total Confusion’. His final track was, quite aptly, ‘The End’ by The Doors, which he says he didn’t worry about picking, it just came to him.

“At the start of my residency, of course I only played vinyl but now everything is digital and has been for some years,” says Cox. The techno veteran has over 150,000 records, all ordered chronologically.
