Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters theme to be reissued on glow-in-the-dark vinyl

Ray Parker Jr.’s 1984 hit gets Record Store Day release.

Released to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the film, funk guitarist Ray Parker Jr.’s generation-defining Ghostbusters theme tune is to get a limited edition release for this year’s Record Store Day on 19th April. Kept to just 1,000 copies, the 10″ release will be cut to glow-in-the-dark vinyl and will feature an instrumental, dub and hard-to-find dance remix versions. [via NME]

The release was announced as part of Record Store Day’s full limited edition list, to which we provided our initial thoughts at the end of last week. Read up on our first impressions and peruse the full list of over 600 releases here.
