Yabby You and King Tubby’s cult dub album Walls Of Jerusalem reissued on vinyl

Originally released on white label in a run of just 500 copies.

One of roots vocalist and producer Yabby You’s iconic recordings with King Tubby is set to be reissued via Pressure Sounds this month.

Originally released in 1976, Walls Of Jerusalem: Yabby You Meets King Tubby was a high point of several collaborations between the two, who worked together regularly throughout the ’70s.

Fiendishly hard to come by, the original has sold for approaching £1,000 on Discogs, while reissues have been few and far between.

For this edition, Pressure Sounds will pair the album – mastered from the original tape – with a series of studio mixes and outtakes, showcasing the breadth of their work together.

Walls Of Jerusalem: Yabby You Meets King Tubby is set to be released on 24th May. Pre-order a copy here and check out the artwork and tracklist below.
