Moving on from Hercules & Love Affair, vocalist, DJ and producer Kim Ann Foxman launched her own label Firehouse Recordings with The Vinyl Factory last year.

Inspired by her love for New York and the house music scene from Latin freestyle to the morn day, Foxman is about to release her second EP on the label, Open The House, featuring three punchy new tracks and a brace of remixes from fellow New Yorker Eli Escobar.

In this short film, Foxman takes FACT.TV record shopping at Brooklyn vinyl mecca The Thing, introduces her label, and gives an insight into her aims and inspirations as a women making waves in a predominantly male dance music scene.

Click here for more info and to pre-order the EP ahead of its official release on March 9th.
