See photos from Conrad Shawcross’ robot installation The Ada Project – closing today

It’s your last chance to see Conrad Shawcross’ Ada Project, featuring new music from Holly Herndon, Mira Calix and more.

For the last three weeks, a robot has been dancing in central London. Rooted on the top floor of The Vinyl Factory’s Brewer Street Car Park space, Conrad Shawcross’ Ada Project has explored the meeting of robotics, music and art for a truly unique installation, drawing on the work of Victorian proto-computer programmer Ada Lovelace to commission a series of tracks influenced by the robots movements.

With music from Holly Herndon, Mira Calix, Beatrice Dillon & Rupert Clerveux and Tamara & Mylo keeping the robot company over the last three weeks, we’ve collected a series of the best images from the opening of the exhibition earlier this month before the show closes tomorrow evening.

Listen to a podcast featuring Conrad Shawcross on the project here as your scroll through the images below.
