VF releases Anaiis & Azekel Reverb Live performance on vinyl
Relive a one-off live collaboration between Anaiis and Azekel.
The Vinyl Factory has released the latest record of a twelve-release collection documenting its Reverb Live Sessions series.
Recorded live during The Vinyl Factory: Reverb exhibition at 180 Studios, the Reverb Live Sessions highlight performances from both emerging and established artists such as Jamilah Barry and Caleb Femi, Ragz Originale, Matthew Progress and Yohan Kebede. Curated in collaboration with Alaska Alaska, Kazeem Kuteyi, and Benji B, the events took place on Amplified — a site-specific stage designed by Theaster Gates as part of the exhibition.
The latest of these releases – Session 06 – captures a one-off collaborative live performance by singers Anaiis and Azekel and their collective of musicians which took place on July 2, 2024.
Pressed on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl, Session 06 (Anaiis & Azekel) is housed in a bespoke die-cut outer sleeve, printed with one-colour flouro and features artwork by Alaska Alaska. The release is limited to 500 copies worldwide.
